We have tried to make the charity as member friendly as possible and we are always looking for new members to join our “Charity Club”, as they bring new ideas, enthusiasm and motivation.

We hold a Members meeting on the first Tuesday of every month, either an evening meeting with a 6pm start or some meetings are held during the day – usually a 12 noon start, and some members stay for a bit to eat after and others leave after the meeting.

We have various little sub groups within the charity, and one of these is our “Social group/charity club”. This is where our members can hear all about the social events we hold and come along to them if they wish to.

Our social events are just for fun, so apart from the odd raffle, they are usually non fund-raising. They are really varied, in both activity, price and location, this way they are hopefully appealing to everyone.

Our members can dip in and out of events and fund raising, as and when they like. Because we understand that our members like us, all have different commitments in their lives.

Our members have first option for tickets to our main events, which have become very popular and well supported, due to their success, great atmosphere, entertainment and fabulous fun. These events such as Themed Balls & Lunches are our main fund raisers and are supported by hundreds of people & many businesses in Plymouth.

So, here are the basics:

We are a charity club raising money for local young people

We hold monthly meetings, to include members’ input, ideas, help etc

We come together as friends welcoming new and existing friends

We encourage members to bring their friends and family along too

We hold social events for our members, just for fun

We hold grand events, which raise funds for the grants that we give

We like donations, raffle or auction prizes, financial donations or simply help with the charity

Our members contribute a monthly subscription. This can be a figure of their choice, for example – £5.00, £7.00, £10.00, £15.00 or any figure they choose

We have social chat groups, where we all keep in touch and share ideas for all sorts of things and make arrangements for events etc.

Our meetings are very informal, there’s no dress code and if you want to stay for something to eat after, you’re very welcome to. We just individually order our food choice and pay the bar staff direct.
