PLCC members and GROWING!

Welcome to the Plymouth Ladies Charity Club

The Plymouth Ladies Charity Club is a registered charity that launched in October 2016. It was created to provide grants of up to £500 for children and young adults (under 25) living in Plymouth and any other PL postcode area. We welcome applications from children, their parents or carers, for those in need of financial assistance, be it to achieve a long held-ambition or to overcome a short-term problem.

Our application process is easy: simply complete the form telling us a little about the recipient and why they need help, and the PLCC grant committee will consider your request at the 6-weekly meeting and reply promptly. See some examples of who we have helped here.

We raise money through our membership and by holding a variety of events throughout the year.

There are many ways in which you could support us. You could join us, attend an event or make a donation.

If you would like to learn more, please contact us.

Providing Comfort & Support

We’re pleased to have awarded £200 to help a 10-year-old boy with autism, drug-resistant epilepsy, and chronic health challenges. His mum requested support for a new waterproof mattress, as his incontinence issues meant frequent bedding replacements, making life even more difficult.

While beds don’t typically fall within our grant criteria, we knew this was a deserving case—ensuring he has a clean, comfortable place to sleep is essential for his well-being.
This is why we’re here—to make a difference where it matters most.
